These Terms and Conditions are applied between the user and Klipz. By using Klipz services, the user accepts that they have read and agree with the following terms (”Terms”) and conditions of Klipz (”Klipz”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “the platform”).
Klipz:
Klipz is a link-in-bio platform where users can create their own link-in-bio pages (hosted on a Klipz domain). The user can publish images and information that will be public — the user should be careful about which content they publish and make sure they have the right to make that content public. Users can create an account with their own email and password, or log in with Google.
Third Party Services:
Klipz relies on third-party services to operate (for example, hosting, database, and email delivery providers). Klipz does not control and is not responsible for the policies, actions, or services provided by third parties.
Third Party Login Services:
If the user uses a third party to log in to Klipz, we may receive different information depending on the third-party service. If the user uses Google to log in, we may receive the following information: the user's Google email, Google name, Google last name, and Google avatar. By using Google as a third-party login service in Klipz, the user agrees to accept Google's policy rules, agrees to share this information with us, and agrees to these Klipz Terms and Conditions. This information is only used to sign up or log in to our platform.
Users Accounts:
Users can only have one account on Klipz. The user is responsible for the safety and status of their account. Klipz can take action against a user account if it violates these Terms. Klipz can terminate, suspend, or restrict access to any account that violates these Terms. If the user forgot their password, they can always reset it from the login page. If we have taken action against a user's account and the user believes this was a mistake, please contact us: support@klipz.fun
Users Content:
Users can create their own link-in-bio pages and publish content. The following content is strictly prohibited on the platform and can result in the termination of the user's account: Illegal Content: illegal activities, illegal content, selling illegal goods, scams, scam links, or content that incites illegal actions. Explicit Content: content that contains gore, extreme sexual content, sexual content involving minors, illegal sexual content, or content depicting death or dying of people/animals. Dangerous Content: viruses, exploits, malware, spyware, and any content that compromises the safety or privacy of users. Hate Content: hate speech, racist content, discrimination, threats, bullying, or harassment. Impersonation: fake accounts impersonating other users, companies, brands, or associations. If any of this content is published, the user's account will be terminated.
User Content — Ownership and Responsibility:
The user retains ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content, the user grants Klipz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content publicly for the sole purpose of operating their Klipz profile. The user is solely and fully responsible for all content they upload. By uploading content, the user represents and warrants that they own it or have all necessary rights and permissions to publish it, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. Klipz does not review, verify, endorse, or take responsibility for user-uploaded content. Klipz acts solely as a hosting provider and bears no liability for the legality, accuracy, or origin of any content published by users. The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Klipz harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising directly or indirectly from content they upload, their use of the Service, or their violation of these Terms.
Copyright and Rights Infringement Notices:
If a third party believes content on Klipz infringes their rights, they may contact legal@klipz.fun with details identifying the content and evidence supporting their claim (for example, proof of identity or ownership of the original work). Upon receiving a claim that Klipz considers credible, Klipz reserves the right to remove or restrict access to the reported content without prior notice to the user who published it. Klipz may, at its sole discretion, review and act on any such notice. Nothing in this section creates an obligation for Klipz to monitor, review, or act on any notice within any specific timeframe.
Moderation:
Klipz can take action on a user's account if these Terms are violated. The platform may keep moderation logs. Klipz may also cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required by law.
Privacy:
By using our services, the user agrees with the Privacy Policy of Klipz.
Intellectual Property and Copyright:
Klipz and all content of the platform (logos, assets, texts, designs, brand elements, code, databases) are protected under European Union law, including Directive 2001/29/EC and Directive 2019/790. Any use or distribution of Klipz's content without the platform's approval is strictly prohibited. If the user believes any content on Klipz violates their rights, please email us: legal@klipz.fun
Services Availability:
Klipz does not guarantee that its services will be available 24/7. There may be interruptions or downtime due to maintenance or technical issues. We work to keep the platform as reliable as possible, but availability is not guaranteed.
Responsibility:
Klipz is not responsible for content published on users' link-in-bio pages. We are not responsible for external links or any economic losses; each user uses the platform at their own risk. Klipz reserves the right to take action against a user account if the content or account violates these Terms.
Age Requirements:
The user must be at least 13 years old to use Klipz. If the user is under the age of 13, they may not create an account or use the Service. By using Klipz, the user represents and warrants that they meet this age requirement.
Account Deletion:
Every user has the right to delete their account on Klipz. Once deleted, the account and its associated data will be removed from our active services — this action is irreversible and the account cannot be recovered. For security and legal reasons, Klipz will still retain the following minimal records after deletion: Log: account creation timestamp and internal account ID (generated by our database). Log: account deletion timestamp, associated internal ID, and email. See our Privacy Policy for full retention periods.
Our Rights:
Klipz reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove content, suspend accounts, restrict access, or terminate the Service for any user if such action is necessary to protect the platform, its users, or comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by French law and, where applicable, European Union law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights the user may have under the laws of their country of residence.
Modifications:
Klipz reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms become effective, the user agrees to be bound by the revised Terms. Klipz will always announce updates to these Terms on the platform, our Discord server (or other social media accounts), or via email.
